Awaiting inciteful mention on your Blog of Tory's backtracking position on religious school funding. I guess he's realized the attempted vote grab from new Canadians isn't working and is actually undermining his traditional base. Did Karl Rove teach you nothing?
But, I do give him credit at least for admitting when he's done something stupid. Most political leaders don't have the balls to acknowledge wrong steps.
Important lesson here: Leading means more than just sticking to your guns to avoid making a politically difficult decision. It means listening and adaptating to find the right policy solutions given the information available at the time. If anyone thinks they have all the right answers and can implement the exact platform they propose, they're full of shit.
Might want to reconsider some of your scathing criticisms of Tory's competitors with this in mind. Leadership sometimes means contradicting your previous naive self if it's the right thing to do.
